Since 1998 Causey has built a wonderful reputation as one of Ireland’s most popular primary school tour venues.

The Causey Experience
Bookings are subject to a minimum charge of €320 in the event that less than 21 pupils arrive.

The tour will last 3 1/2 hours.
All children need to wear old clothes and shoes to the farm, bring a full change of clothes, a towel and a plastic bag for this tour.
Packed lunch and a drink also required.
Teachers will need to accompany all pupils to the bog for supervision and also at the changing rooms.
We ask that we be made aware in advance of any pupils that have a history of injuries such as knee dislocation.

Causey Junior Tour
minimum group charge of €320 if less than 18 pupils arrive on the day.
Children need to bring a packed lunch and the duration of the tour is 3 hours.

Cost €16 Per Pupil
The programme lasts for 3 or 3 ½ hours including lunch. Each programme is tailored to suit the age group of the students, the Causey Experience for 2nd to 6th class and the Causey Junior Tour from junior infants to first class; we’ve many indoor venues so we can en sure a successful day regardless of the elements.
There are two leaders with each class who will ensure that students have an action packed day where they learn new skills and thoroughly enjoy them. The children need to bring a packed lunch and drinks. Everyone must wear their oldest clothes and shoes (wellies if they have them) and from second to sixth class must bring a complete change of old clothes and footwear. Please also bring an old towel and a plastic bag to take home the bog-jumping clothes.
Bogjumping is very messy—but it is FANTASTIC fun!

How Much Does it Cost?
The Causey Experience is €18 per child for the Causey Experienc and €16 per child for the Junior Tour.
You just pay for the number of children who come on the day. We accept cash or cheque payments on the day. Please make cheques payable to Causey Farm.

Cost of pool to hire to School Groups
The pool is heated to an average of 30 degrees celcius which is very comfortable for children.
- Up to 30 children with floats and toys €120
- 30 – 50 children with floats and toys. – €140 (3 lifeguards provided on these sessions)
- 30 – 50 children without floats and toys €120
- Up to 30 children without floats and toys €100
