Improve communication, develop leadership & delegation, increase co-operation, build relationships, improve performance, discover problem solving abilities and of course have a wonderful day out.
We divide the group into teams to participate in various hands-on challenges. Some organisations want to focus more on interaction than competition and our experienced facilitators will work with your teams to maximise the outcomes from the day.
Sheep Herding – this can take a number of formats – Sometimes we form a human pen with the group and get the dogs to take the sheep up close and personal, into the middle of the round the barrels, through the gate and into a pen!“pen”. We also have fantastic fun getting the teams to guide a group of sheep through a series of gateways!
Wellie Throwing – a notoriously unpredictable sport – brings out the competitive streak in everyone (and not always pretty)!Céilí Dancing – nothing like this to get the energy flowing and we can have a dancing competition to decide which team wins.
Brown Breadmaking – while only one loaf of bread will be chosen as the winner that person’s team will get the points.
Bodhrán Workshop – Good old-fashioned drumming, hopefully in time to the music – this can be judged, or just enjoyed as a bit of communal fun.
Mural Painting – Choose a theme related to your work and paint one or several murals to explore and develop this theme.
Trip to the Bog – Take the tractor and trailer to the bog and after a short journey through the forest, learn a little of Irish Bogs … Complete the obstacle course and you can walk barefoot in the peat if you like – an ancient Irish pedicure.
Milk a Cow – everyone will get a chance to be a “milkmaid” … swish, swish … “have we enough for a cup of tea?”
