Hi Deirdre and all I spoke to and received an email from over the past 9 months!!! Yes 9 months ago I got in contact with you to plan and book my sisters hen party!!! Well this night last week she thought she would literally burst if we didn’t give her some hint as to where she was going or what she was doing!!!

21 hens (ranging in age from 72 to 12!) landed at Causey Farm! 20 of us were rearing to go! The hen however was not convinced! “A farm” she said!!

Anyway we met out leader Moya and we listened carefully to hear which activity we would begin with! Trish was in her element when Moya said we’d back some brown bread!!! From that second on I knew we’d made the right decision! At a risk of going on and on can I just say we had the best Craic, fun, games and laughter! Tea and scones afterwards…. Heavenly!!

But that was just the beginning….moving swiftly along to “The Downton Abbey Experience”….. Words kinda fail me now (you’ll be glad to hear!!) Simply Amazing!!! I’m wasn’t a Downton Abbey fan….never watched an episode!(That has since changed!) Trish however is another story altogether! She was completely overwhelmed when we reached the top of the avenue and all her friends and family were lined up and ready to greet her!

The whole experience was so well organised and executed! Dermot was a scream…. My face was sore from laughing! The dressing up was wonderful! But the attention to detail by our “hard-working servants” was the bit I appreciated the most!

I could go on and on but I think you get the idea. Every person we met that day was warm, friendly, laid back, hardworking and above all so genuine! I know Trish will never forget this experience. But listening to the younger hens and the not so “younger” hens…. There really is something for everyone!
