Try a family day out that doesn’t depend on the weather for all of you to have a good time
Friday July 26th and Friday August 16th 2019 from 2pm – 5.30pm. (To book, please call us on 046 9434135 or email firstname.lastname@example.org)
Arrive at the farm at 2pm to join with a group for three and a half hours of fun and learning. There’s something for everyone from playing the bodhrán (traditional Irish drum) to blowing giant bubbles. You can gather sheep with the sheepdogs and milk a cow. Paint a masterpiece on the barn wall or find an egg in the hen-house. Take a hayride to the bog where you can appreciate the landscape, cut a few sods of turf or just jump in the bog for the pure joy of it! The delicious home-made scones will be ready when you come back or you are more than welcome to bring a picnic.

The cost is €14 per person with under-3s free. This programme is suitable for all age groups and nationalities. It’s a great day out for your visitors from overseas.
Family Rate of €50 for a family of 4 people. (Under 3 year olds are free.)
What To Wear
Generally – wear old clothes but if you intend to go bog jumping (this is EXTREMELY good fun) but everyone gets absolutely filthy! Wear your OLDEST clothes and shoes and bring a complete change of clothes and footwear (your second oldest!). We don’t have showers here … so an OLD towel is always a good idea.
If the weather is bad….. don’t worry at all – we have loads of indoor venues for activities and we have had some of our best fun here running between the showers!
