All the sheds have different Christmas-themed events and everyone moves from place to place to sample each new experience.

Causey Farm comes alive with a festive atmosphere – as we celebrate Christmas with all the traditional charm and magic you’d expect. There’s a chill in the air. The farm animals are in for the winter and the baby lambs will soon be born. We hear laughter and “Wows” across the old farmyard – the time has come to celebrate and we do it in style here at Causey Farm.

How much are tickets?

Child: €32.95

Are dogs allowed at our Christmas Experience?

Unfortunately not for Christmas as our Christmas is a group experience.
we allow them on leashes at our other events.

Weather warnings – Status Orange Warnings

If there is an Orange WIND warning, we will close and transfer or refund tickets. We would not like to take any risks with people travelling to or from Causey Farm.

If there is an Orange RAIN warning we will remain open as almost all the experience is inside.

Is there parking at the farm?

Yes, we have free parking for all our customers.

In the event of an orange weather warning for Co. Meath

Causey Christmas experience is still open. Please arrive here safely and we will accommodate your booking to the best of our ability.

In the event of a red weather warning for Co.Meath

Causey Christmas experience will be closed.

Will we get a photo with Santa?

Yes – We have a professional photographer and these photos cost an additional €15 but this is completely optional and you are welcome to take as many photos and videos on your own device as you want.

Can I purchase my photo with Santa Claus in the days following my visit to Christmas at Causey?

Unfortunately, we are not in the position to print and post photographs following your visit. Photographs can only be purchased on the day.

Do I need to prebook or can I purchase tickets on the day?

Yes, tickets must be purchased in advance and are available through our website from the 8th of August.

Will my family & I see Santa individually?

We will have three or four families meeting Santa together but Santa will be able to have an individual chat with each family.

How long does the programme last?

Groups start every 15 minutes and the programme lasts an hour and a half.

What is the refund policy?

If you cancel more than seven days before your booking date we will give you a full refund (please refer to our booking Terms and Conditions).

All refunds are exclusive of a €2/ticket booking fee as detailed in our terms and conditions.

What is the Cancellation Option?

We require a minimum 7 days notice. All refunds are exclusive of the booking fee of €2 per ticket.

Should I arrive early?

You should try to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled start time, but do not panic if you are running late.

Is it all outside?

No all the parts of the experience are in different venues around the farmyard but you do need to walk between the venues as the programme progresses.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes – you are very welcome to bring your camera or camcorder. We have a professional photographer and these photos cost an additional €15 but this is completely optional.

What clothes are suitable?

Dress very warmly with lots of layers, hats and gloves. Wellies are good if there has been heavy rain, otherwise runners or shoes
will keep your feet warmer.

Will Santa know anything about my child?

When you are booking we ask for a few short pieces of information about your children. It is really important that you just fill in a few words as Santa will be much more likely to use this information in conversation. He has a very short time to look at this and if he is not totally confident he will divert the conversation in another direction. We cannot guarantee that Santa will refer to this information but we will do our utmost to make sure every family has a wonderful Christmas Experience.

Do you have any other tips or suggestions?

It is a good idea to bring a bag for presents.

How many people can I have per booking?

We will have approx. 20 people in each group. If it is one family group, we can allow up to 35 people.

Do I need a ticket for a baby?

Babies under 12 months are free of charge and will receive a present from Santa, you do not to purchase a ticket for them.

Can I reschedule my booking if the date I have doesn’t suit

Yes, you can reschedule your booking but only to a timeslot that is available, you can reschedule by contacting us on info@causey.ie

Can I bring a buggy for my child?

Some of the route is on gravel pathways but it will still be possible to push a buggy.

I need to add an extra child/adult in with our family. How can I do this ?

If you need to modify your booking, you can drop us an email to info@causey.ie and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

Are there any discounts available for carers with special needs children?

We do not offer any discounts for this event as we run a special sensory day for our special needs friends with a 50% reduction in tickets.

Are there baby changing facilities on site?

Yes, we have baby changing facilities on site.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?

Causey Christmas Experience is wheelchair accessible but please note that some parts of the experience have uneven surface and has some uphill/elevated areas which may be difficult for some people to push a wheelchair up. There is one stairs up to Santa’s bedroom but this can be skipped and Mrs Claus will be downstairs this year so she will get to meet everyone.
